OK, I celebrate 4/20/02 as the birthday of v1 of this blog. It was 6 years ago that I started blogging on a semi-regular basis. A few years back, I had to go underground for anonymity sake but I can proudly say the quality did not increase one bit!

I have been getting deluged in blog spam. If you left a comment recently (and let’s be honest, no one has) there is a good chance it got lost. I installed/activated akismet so let’s hope that helps out. BTW, all the spam has been coming from the same IP address 81.95.146.162 so if anyone wants to run a DoS attack or completely overload the server, feel free. What fucking douchebags.

WordPress Theme Viewer - OK, I really like how Moveable Type did their templates and once you get used to something, it gets tougher to like something else. The WordPress community is pretty sharing with themes though hence the viewer. I just prefer to build my own (or steal other people’s without crediting them).

OK, so it looks like the domain has moved over and I am slowly getting up and running on the new webhost. So far I am really impressed. $8 a month 20GB in space, easy install of wordpress and a ton of other apps. I am going to try and get to importing the old database into Wordpress today so we’ll be able to see how that goes and then we will eventually get around to desiging this bad boy. Don’t know too much about designing in WordPress so this should be interesting.
