Clear Channel bans Springsteen’s new stuff - I like the boss and have heard mixed reviews of his new stuff but he’s not someone I go out of my way to listen to. But the fact that Clear Channel dominates so much of the industry is bad for artists and the public. Not to mention the founder is an Aggie. This guy is my new arch-nemesis.

BTW - if you want to complain to the FTC or email the commissioners, feel free.

Chuck Norris endorses Mike Huckabee for President - I am frightened that any celebrity endorsement may sway a voter but for some reason this gives Huckabee a bit of cool cred. He’s in the top half of GOP contenders (which ain’t saying much!) but he was a horrid governor and he would be continuing the devolution of American culture that W began. That said, Chuck Norris has never endorsed me for jack shit and I’m a bit jealous.

Blues and Heritage Festival - Starts today. Looking at the lineup, I don’t know any blues artists and that is a shame.
