So I have had a MySpace account for some time. I really just used it to get online and hunt for sexual prey. It had no info and 1 Friend (you know Tom). Well I met a buddy’s wife and she added me as a friend which doubled my numbers. So then I felt like I should give a damn about it and now that is all I have done for the past 2 days. I feel dirty and ashamed.
Anyway, since this is an anonymous blog, obviously I won’t like to my page. But if you know how to do search then you can pretty much find me. But I still hate Rupert Murdoch!!!

Black is the New Green - Very interesting article with follow-up. I had a somewhat similar conversation with the roommate but getting people to change habits is extremely difficult, even if their values closely align. I think it is because the computer can be such a personal device, and is not viewed as a household appliance or tool. It is a device that can help teach your children to read or download donkey shows directly to your desktop. Not many devices can elicit such emotional responses. But with the magnitude of machines out there, some changes in default behaviors quickly add up.

I completely found this shortcut by accident. I hate using my mouse any more than I have to, so in a browser (FireFox & IE) I use Ctrl+L to open a new location (go to a different URL). Well I did this but Adobe Acrobat (or whatever it is called) had the focus and opened my document in Full Screen View which is the easiest way to read a PDF. It reminds me of the popular “Light Box” feature where it darks out the background and zooms your viewing object. Anyway, little nerdy hack I thought I would pass along.
